Workplace massage is specifically designed to work with the client seated at the desk, so that there is no interruption to the flow of work.
Long hours at a desk puts most of the load onto neck and shoulders. Impaired flow to nerve, blood and lymph supply, may result in pain in arms, shoulders neck and back, headaches, loss of concentration and lethargy

Workplace massage works quickly to identify and relieve areas of tension, most commonly around the neck, shoulders and arms.
The therapist can often very quickly pinpoint the source of a client's pain or discomfort, such as posture, desk height or layout, and suggest simple ergonomic changes or appropriate stretches.

Clients report immediate positive benefits from regular massage, including reduction or cessation of headaches, relief of neck and shoulder pain and less discomfort and injury.

Evidence is mounting that the benefits are more than just a pleasant interlude for the client though. Employers are realizing that their bottom line is being affected. Their staff are more alert, their thinking and computing skills is improved, and sick time is reduced.

The massage usually lasts 15 minutes, but in some circumstances,
it may be 5 or 10 minutes. The massage is carried out weekly or fortnightly, depending on the needs of the clients.
Payment may be wholly funded by the employer, shared, or be wholly paid by the client.
